Maintenance Supervisor (1151316)

About the role

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in the Syracuse, NY area. This is a first shift role; the hours are 8am–5pm (may require some flexibility with start time).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, changeovers, and safety initiatives.
• Manage and prioritize maintenance activities across all three shifts to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Provide technical support for plant infrastructure, maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Production teams to develop and execute daily and weekly schedules that maximize productivity.
• Support management of plant electrical systems and PLC programs to maintain equipment reliability.
• Assist with plant safety programs, including Arc Flash compliance and related safety initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–8 years experience working in an industrial environment with supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Familiarity and understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, High-Speed Packing Equipment, Plant Electrical Systems, and conveyor systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs & software.
