Maintenance Storeroom Attendant onsite in Malvern, PA
About the role
Maintains the reliability of manufacturing assets, spare parts, utilities, through preventive and corrective workorders. Oversees a 24/7 operation consisting of Supervisors, Technicians, Engineers, and Specialists. This is an onsite role Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm fully onsite in Malvern, PA.
Responsibilities
- Directs the organization of incoming and outgoing materials for verification against shipping documentation.
- Ensures reviews of orders and pull items are done and staged correctly so that they can be delivered to user departments.
- Verifies that all inventory and receiving transactions are registered in the system to ensure up-to-date availability of information to end-users as well as timely payment to suppliers.
- Generates inventory reports and reviews the compiled list of shortages, expired products and other issues for management and reordering.
- Ensures all shipping documents, inspection records are filed properly and correctly updated in the system.
- Registers all inventory and receiving transactions in the system to ensure up-to-date availability of information to end-users as well as timely payment to suppliers.
- Represents the storeroom and storeroom process on site-wide project teams and business initiatives as assigned.
- Ensures cGMP compliance of initiative activities including adherence to applicable SOP’s, Change Control Processes, Work Order Processes, and the Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA’s).
- Recognizes and acts on potential compliance issues and opportunities for process changes/improvement.
- Works with Equipment OEM’s and suppliers to identify and resolve stock issues.
- Leads inventory audits, compiles and submits audit data to management/lead.
- Ensures that storeroom operations are delivered to KPI/targets.
- Collaborates with suppliers and internal customers on both business standards and standardized expectations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of some of the following areas preferred: cGMPs, FDA regulations, SAP, MES, USDA, TSA, OSHA.
- Associates degree, and >2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of CMMS, SAP preferred.
- Prior pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing equipment and systems experience preferred.
- Prior warehouse or parts stockroom experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
