About the role
The ARC Greater Hudson Valley is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join their team in Sullivan County and Orange County.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall appearance, cleanliness, repair, and safety of facilities assigned.
- May involve general maintenance skills or specific expertise such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, or any other area as required.
- On-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Background Check
- Reference Check
- 2 years work experience in one or more of the following trades: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating, painting, maintenance.
- All positions require a valid, clean NYS drivers license with a minimum of one year driving experience with a Class D license.
Physical requirements
- Lift at least 50 lbs.
- Walk, stand, push or pull, climb stairs and ladders frequently.
- Bend, carry goods including furniture, supplies and equipment.
- Exert all other medium to heavy physical effort.
Shift and Salary
- This is a Full-time position, 37.5 hours a week.
- Hourly rate: $19.62
