Maintenance Specialist (Housing Maintenance) (23563)

Responsibilities

• Replaces pipes, fittings and valves in steam and hot water lines above and underground as needed.
• Installs and repairs valves, faucets, traps, sinks, wash bowls, sanitary fixtures, condensate pumps, hot water pumps, condenser pumps, chemical pumps, sump pumps, steam traps, steam valves, reducing valves, strainers, insulation, and performs preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Replaces ballast, light switches, receptacles, circuit breakers, fuses, and other electrical components on various incandescent, high intensity discharge, and fluorescent fixtures.
• Repairs windows, walls, ceilings, stairs, furniture, and floors including basic masonry, tile work, wood work, caulking, painting, and hanging doors.
