Maintenance Specialist

About the role

The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of all building facilities, including but not limited to HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal building functionality.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and perform necessary repairs within established timeframes.
• Inspect and report on the condition of building systems and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant codes and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience in building maintenance or a similar field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using common maintenance tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with some weekend work required.
