Maintenance Service Technician -Franklin Apartments

Position Summary

The Service Technician is an integral part of the on-site Service Team at Benton Communities. This position responds and attends to resident service requests, communicates with residents to resolve maintenance issues, and assists the Service Manager in performing preventive maintenance.

Duties

• Responds to and attends to resident service requests.
• Communicates with residents to resolve maintenance issues.
• Affords assistance to the Service Manager in performing preventive maintenance of the asset.
• Pays particular attention towards asset protection.
• Displays solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials to complete maintenance tasks.
• Follows all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Visually inspects the community and reports any maintenance concerns.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.

Schedule

The position reports directly to the Community Manager/Service Manager and is accountable to the Property Owners, Residents, and Team Members.

Pay

Position is eligible for a bonus potential.
