Maintenance Repairman (2nd shift)-2

About the role

HYMH is seeking an energetic individual to join the Maintenance team. The Maintenance Repairperson will support production by maintaining and repairing plant facilities and equipment, implementing a preventative maintenance program, and keeping accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production standards by making repairs to equipment including torch cutting, welding, brazing, and soldering
• Perform electrical repairs and installations such as replacing contacts, fuses, switches, motors, and defective or broken wires and power circuits
• Repair small tools, fans, and other electrical equipment
• Maintain and repair plant and office building including floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, windows, pipe air lines, hot and cold water lines, and hydraulic lines
• Diagnose, disassemble, repair or replace components and equipment
• Support continuous process of the production of lift trucks
• Perform preventative maintenance as outlined on equipment manufacturer’s recommendations
• Comply with all safety standards and regulations
• Maintain building, equipment, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner

Requirements

• A minimum of six months' related experience in a manufacturing environment
• A High School diploma and continuing education in related fields
• Ability to read and make decisions from drawings, specifications, instructions, manuals, and written and verbal instructions
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics, electronic, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance and repair
• Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment
• Effective communication skills; both oral and written
• Maintenance Certification is preferred

Qualifications

Candidates must be able to manage time to maintain acceptable levels of attendance and be willing to participate in training deemed necessary by management.
