About the role

CPI is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Reliability Coordinator to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good work attendance, and the ability to oversee and optimize the maintenance program for operations in both grain and agronomy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe culture to customers and peers through exceptional and courteous customer service, following safety guidelines and established programs, and completing safety reports and required records.
  • Champion the development and implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (Dekra) to optimize maintenance program effectiveness.
  • Coach and develop personnel in understanding equipment job plans, inspections, proper maintenance, and the use of the maintenance system.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and minimize breakdowns.
  • Establish standardized maintenance/reliability processes and metrics to drive plant efficiency.
  • Perform follow-up analysis to identify and resolve recurring operational issues.
  • Facilitate training sessions and identify skill development needs for plant personnel and contractors.
  • Conduct failure analysis on critical assets and equipment to eliminate the root cause of failure and develop improvements to prevent future occurrences.

  • Proficient knowledge of business computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, Internet, and accounting software).
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong business acumen abilities; time management, planning, organization, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • High School Diploma or GED or related experience and/or training, with three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education or comparable experience working with agricultural commodities and material handling equipment.
  • Associates Degree is a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
  • This job involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, or standing and occasionally requiring to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Must have the ability to work in all types of weather conditions, around moving parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals as well as work in high precarious places.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or related experience and/or training, with three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education or comparable experience working with agricultural commodities and material handling equipment.
  • Associates Degree is a plus.
