Maintenance (PRN as needed)

About the role

Preserves the good condition and functionality of the facility premises by performing varied maintenance tasks such as painting, installations, equipment maintenance and logs, landscaping, and other duties directed by the Facility Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs, sockets, etc.)
• Maintain plumbing, heating, and air conditioning system to include filter changes; schedule repairs as needed
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix leaks, replace ceiling tiles, hang wall items, etc.) and schedule repairs as needed
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned including, but not limited to, painting, landscaping, carpentry, etc.
• Survey building and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards, and schedule repairs when needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of electrical systems
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus
