Maintenance Porter
Position Responsibilities
- Remove trash and recycling from the building and transport to outside dumpster areas daily.
- Remove trash from the community’s perimeter daily.
- Aid in the apartment make-ready process.
- Aid in the proper clearing of snow during a snow event.
- Respond to after-hours on-call emergencies.
Requirements
- High School / GED education
- 1-2 years of maintenance or related experience
- Customer service first attitude
- Professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor
- Proactive self-starter and a team-player
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents and staff
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to respond to on-call emergencies at the property
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must pass a background check
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment

Pay
Compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
Schedule
Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some flexibility based on the needs of the property.
