Responsibilities
- Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted in checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure all dirt, dust, litter, and debris is removed from all areas of the facility using brooms, mops, brushes, and other hand tools.
- Walk garage daily to note and correct any maintenance problems.
- Sweep and pick up around entrances, exits, stairwells, and clean surface areas, rails, booth, office, and restrooms.
- Empty all trashcans in the garage, booth, and office.
- Paint areas of the facility as directed to maintain neat and clean painted surfaces (poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, gates, etc.).
- Replace burned-out bulbs and apply oil absorbent to spills.
- Submit requests for repairs or maintenance.
- Check conditions of safety items, such as gate arms, to ensure clearance bars are secure.
- Check ticket spitters and gates daily for proper operation, ticket supply, clock accuracy, and general appearance.
- Provide ticket and record gate counters to the Manager.
- Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and a garage/lot sweep sheet.
- Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, outdoor equipment (weed eater, lawnmowers), or other electrical tools for repairs or construction.
- Shovel, plow, or blow snow from entrance/exit ramps and designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, and other light-duty equipment.
- Report any observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager in a timely manner.
- Practice the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and Five Customer Service Behaviors to ensure successful customer interactions.
- Assist customers within the facility or as directed by the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
- Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervisor assistance.
- Be familiar with all aspects of the operation and cover other duties (cashier, attendant, etc.) as needed.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance, wearing a complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
- Facility maintenance, electrical, and/or painting experience or skills training may be required depending on the job assignment and facility.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record if required to drive a company vehicle or on company business.
- Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and/or weekends, depending on location needs.

- Must twist, turn, stretch, and bend on a frequent basis.
- Must lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly.
- Must move quickly.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work with dust, chemicals, and other possible irritants.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat).
Pay
$17.00 per hour. This role is eligible to earn tips in addition to the posted hourly rate.
