Maintenance Person - Full Time $20 per hour

Position Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper operations of all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, laundry, kitchen, refrigeration, lighting systems, and all specialized equipment.
• Ensure compliance with city, state and /or federal code requirements.
• Perform flexible schedule, including AM shift or PM shift.
• Review and complete work orders based on priorities.
• Assume full responsibility for the condition of the property and all public areas.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for all equipment.
• Update and maintain the safety manual and provide all necessary training, including OSHA regulations, DOT testing, Right to Know Law, and NFPA training.
• Chair the safety committee and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain all required permits and licenses for the facility.
• May perform additional job responsibilities outside of this job description to assist other departments in their regular functions.
