About the role

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Facilities Support Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity for individuals with 1-year continuous service from their hire date to apply for internal promotions or transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide general facilities support for the operation including repair and upkeep of the building and grounds.
• Carry out specific assignments as directed by the Work order system or the team supervisor.
• Support office moves and conference room set up requests.
• Perform general office tasks such as painting, patching walls, light carpentry, hanging items, sheet rock work, and masonry repairs.
• Support plumbing tasks like changing faucets and working on toilets.
• Assist with electrical work conducted by staff electricians.
• Complete regularly scheduled Facility PMs.
• Repair and maintain all facility doors, dock doors, dock plates, etc.
• Assist other facility maintenance techs with potential breakdown calls related to electric and/or pneumatic hoists.
• Maintain general plant appearance including industrial cleaning and ride-on floor scrubbing.
• Work with landscape contractors to ensure grounds are maintained properly.
• Act as a liaison between Polaris and facilities contractors or temporary contract labor as requested.
• Work in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety rules in daily assignments.
• Perform special projects as assigned.

• Must be in good standing if currently employed.

Skills & Knowledge

• Experienced using forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• 3-5 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate well and work independently.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $22.81 - $26.93
