Maintenance Mechanic - Weekend Shift

Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Completing preventive maintenance requirements of all equipment
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance
- Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance to correct issues as necessary to maintain productivity and/or quality standards
- Repairing machines and equipment, as necessary
- Preventing unexpected machine breakdowns
- Control downtime by communicating with all departments
- Maintain equipment, parts and supplies, conserve resources when able
- Prepare maintenance reports, document, and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals
- Understand how to use measuring equipment
- Able to breakdown, repair, rebuild, and troubleshoot Production Machines
- Able to make simple parts or equipment and tools
- Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment, and devices that are required, and comply with company safety policies and procedures
- Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
Essential To This Position
- 1st Shift - Working 12-hour Shifts Friday through Sunday. 5:00am -5:30pm
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting.
- Frequent standing/walking required.
- Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs.
Education & Experience
Desired - High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $30-$36/hour.
