Maintenance Mechanic - Floater

About the role

Tuscan Dairy Farms is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic floater to join their team. The position is a facility maintenance team member responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements (both planned and unplanned) on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems
• Safely operate power equipment
• Assist the plant maintenance team with coordination of inspections and special events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Boiler Experience preferred
• Amonia Refrigeration Experience preferred
• NJ Boiler License preferred
• NJ Refrigeration License preferred
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary
• Must be able to work in a wet environment
• Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays, as needed

10 pm - 6:30 am Monday - Friday; Subject to change with PTO, days off, and business need
