About the role
As a Maintenance Mechanic B, you will oversee and perform repairs on production facility equipment. This role operates on an A Shift schedule (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and includes a $1,000 sign-in bonus.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work orders and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to DC equipment and controls.
- Understand and troubleshoot electrical phase systems.
- Perform equipment installation and welding.
- Record work done on provided forms.
- Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Identify parts needed and maintain an inventory of parts in the stockroom.
- Perform equipment changeovers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience.
- One (1) to three (3) years of PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley preferred).
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience with electrical systems, such as Three Phase.
- Maintenance troubleshooting experience.
- Three (3) years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience with pneumatics.
- Knowledge of fabricating, electrical, pneumatics, welding, and rigging.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Fluent troubleshooting techniques.
- Good machine shop skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
