Maintenance Mechanic B- A Shift

About the role

As a Maintenance Mechanic B, you will oversee and perform repairs on production facility equipment. This role operates on an A Shift schedule (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and includes a $1,000 sign-in bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work orders and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to DC equipment and controls.
• Understand and troubleshoot electrical phase systems.
• Perform equipment installation and welding.
• Record work done on provided forms.
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Identify parts needed and maintain an inventory of parts in the stockroom.
• Perform equipment changeovers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience.
• One (1) to three (3) years of PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley preferred).
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience with electrical systems, such as Three Phase.
• Maintenance troubleshooting experience.
• Three (3) years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years of experience with pneumatics.
• Knowledge of fabricating, electrical, pneumatics, welding, and rigging.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Fluent troubleshooting techniques.
• Good machine shop skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
