Maintenance Mechanic B 6P-6A

About the role

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic B to oversee and perform repairs on production facility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to the DC equipment and controls
• Understand and troubleshoot any issues related to the electrical phases systems
• Perform equipment installation and welding
• Records work done on forms provided
• Follows OSHA and company safety guidelines
• Identifies parts needed and maintains an inventory of parts in the stockroom
• Performs equipment changeovers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Three (3) years industrial maintenance experience
• One (1) to three (3) years PLC troubleshooting experience
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience with electrical – such as Three Phase
• Maintenance troubleshooting experience
• Three (3) years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience
• One (1) to two (2) years' experience with pneumatics
• Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding and Rigging
• Must be able to troubleshoot equipment problems
• Fluent Troubleshooting Techniques
• Good Machine Shop skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks
