Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

Seneca Foods in Glencoe, MN is seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair food processing equipment. You will complete repairs during the processing season to meet production goals and overhaul/install plant equipment during non-production periods to prepare for the next scheduled production run.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment throughout the facility
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace machinery as required
• Read sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned work
• Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as required
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and preventive maintenance completed
• Monitor equipment operation and make necessary adjustments
• Ensure that GMP’s (General Manufacturing Practices), safety rules, and regulations are followed and enforced
• Other duties as assigned

Pay

Starting wage range: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on skills, abilities, and experience.
