Maintenance Mechanic
About the role
We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Stafford, TX location. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of progressive maintenance repair and electronic/mechanical troubleshooting experience, and a willingness to pursue further education.
Responsibilities
- Perform disassembly, repair, or replacement of parts and/or production equipment
- Conduct fitting and alignment of mechanical components for proper functioning
- Utilize troubleshooting techniques to provide temporary and long-term fixes to minimize downtime
- Diagnose and correct maintenance issues on Statement and Invoices Equipment, Mail Inserters, Cut Sheet Printers and Laser Printers
- Analyze and interpret schematic diagrams for electronic troubleshooting
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of progressive maintenance repair and electronic/mechanical troubleshooting
- Willing to go back to school to earn degree or certification
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience using a computer for data entry
- Experience with using hand tools like drill, screwdriver, and soldering equipment
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics or equivalent
- Military training and background
- 5+ years of production maintenance with electronic repair experience
- Experience with IP5000, HP Roll-to-Roll printer, Ricoh Cut Sheet Printers
- Experience with BlueCrest, APS, MPS, and EPIC inserting equipment
- Experience with APEX or Criterion sorters

Pay
The starting salary range for this role is $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
Schedule
You will work the following schedule and hours: 1st shift- 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, 2nd shift- 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm or 3rd shift-10:30 pm to 7:00 am with work days of Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday, with overtime as needed.
