Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Position Summary

We have immediate need for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for third shift. Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for performing tasks necessary to provide high quality, efficient, timely shipment of Ventek products. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work with various teams and be an effective problem solver.

Day to day responsibilities

• Performing all duties in support of Ventek’s quality and safety policies.
• Installing and maintaining auxiliary equipment as required by production.
• Maintaining and repairing utility and facility-related equipment as directed by the Plant Engineer.
• Assisting/training other maintenance personnel with repairs, PM’s, and rebuilds.
• Collaborating closely with other departments and teams for proactive problem resolutions.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Managing small projects to maintain or upgrade equipment.

Requirements

• Cat 2 Electrical - 3 years experience with PLC systems, preferably Allen Bradley 5000 series, Siemens, and Omron.
• Minimum (3) years industrial maintenance experience required.
• 2 years experience with Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
• Must be able to read and or understand written and verbal policy, instruction and directions in English.
• Must have 480 volt and 3 phase electric experience.
• Must be certified on Material handler including scissor lift.
• Able to work at heights.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
• It would be a huge plus if you have machine shop/fabrication experience.
• Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed.
