Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Position Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic performs predictive, preventative, and emergency maintenance on high-speed packaging equipment. This role includes completing pre-startup reviews, preventative maintenance, rebuilds, troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and computerized maintenance documentation to support equipment reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-startup reviews, preventative maintenance, greasing, rebuilds, and equipment installation or removal
• Maintain computerized documentation for PM01 and PM02 work
• Troubleshoot emergency equipment failures and complete equipment repairs
• Maintain strong working relationships with equipment operators and team members
• Follow all plant rules and policies, including safety, GMP regulations, and good housekeeping practices
• Perform other duties as assigned in a team-based environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, one to two years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees, or members of the organization
• Ability to work in a team-based environment while following safety, GMP, housekeeping, and plant policy expectations

Pay

Starting rate of pay is $35.64 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• 3rd shift earns a $1.50 per hour shift premium
• 12-hour 2/2/3 schedule with no swing shifts
