Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Full-time, on-site position located in West Springfield, MA.

About the Role

Cabot Creamery, a B Corp-certified dairy cooperative since 2012, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This role involves general maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities across the plant. Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities.
• Demonstrate proficiency in several primary maintenance functions, including:
  • Electricity and electronics
  • Plumbing (copper, black iron)
  • Mechanical systems and machine shop/millwright tasks
  • Welding (stick: black iron, stainless steel, aluminum; TIG: stainless steel pipe (sanitary), aluminum)
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Refrigeration
• Demonstrate schedule flexibility, including willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotate shifts as required by business needs. Overtime, holiday work, and shift rotation may be mandatory.

Pay

Starting pay range: $32.25–$36.51 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential. Eligible for wage increases during the first 24 months.

Schedule

3rd shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Schedule flexibility required, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and shift rotation as needed.
