Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Operates company approved vehicles
- Responsible for the prompt and compliant pick-up and delivery of materials to various locations
- Review bill of ladings for accuracy
- Adhere to company instructions relating to delivery of materials
- Operate hand-lift in a safely as needed to load vehicles
- Adhere to all city and state highway regulations pertaining to truck and load limits, safety regulations and set speed limits
- Responsible for loading vehicle as needed
- Ensure normal vehicle repairs as well as required maintenance are performed as needed
- Operate and maintain equipment and/or hand tools used in the facility
- Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment as needed
- Utilize handling equipment to move raw material within the warehouse to machining locations in the facility
- Complete piece assembly, as needed
- Assist other operating personnel as necessary to support plant operation
- Other duties as assigned

- Strong attention to detail
- Maintain clean driving record in good standing with law regulations as well as in accordance with company policy
- Maintain safe working conditions and follow operator safety procedures
- Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
- Independent self-starter, able to perform without direct and explicit instruction
- Positive and professional attitude
- Available to work weekends and overtime
Required EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing and hearing
- Frequent walking
- Frequent reaching with hands/arms
- Frequent lifting/moving up to 20 lbs.
- Occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Use of vision correction is acceptable, if necessary; however, any vision correction apparatus must meet all safety guidelines for the area of activity
