Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • Operates company approved vehicles
  • Responsible for the prompt and compliant pick-up and delivery of materials to various locations
  • Review bill of ladings for accuracy
  • Adhere to company instructions relating to delivery of materials
  • Operate hand-lift in a safely as needed to load vehicles
  • Adhere to all city and state highway regulations pertaining to truck and load limits, safety regulations and set speed limits
  • Responsible for loading vehicle as needed
  • Ensure normal vehicle repairs as well as required maintenance are performed as needed
  • Operate and maintain equipment and/or hand tools used in the facility
  • Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment as needed
  • Utilize handling equipment to move raw material within the warehouse to machining locations in the facility
  • Complete piece assembly, as needed
  • Assist other operating personnel as necessary to support plant operation
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Maintain clean driving record in good standing with law regulations as well as in accordance with company policy
  • Maintain safe working conditions and follow operator safety procedures
  • Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
  • Independent self-starter, able to perform without direct and explicit instruction
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Available to work weekends and overtime

Required EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license

Physical Demands

  • Frequent standing and hearing
  • Frequent walking
  • Frequent reaching with hands/arms
  • Frequent lifting/moving up to 20 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Use of vision correction is acceptable, if necessary; however, any vision correction apparatus must meet all safety guidelines for the area of activity
