Maintenance Manager - DENSO (ASKY) **Hopkinsville, KY**

Job Description Oversees directly and through a maintenance team leader, the daily maintenance activities of the plant and provides strategic leadership and direction for all areas of the plant operations. Develops and maintains strong cross functional relationships in order to develop effective organizational planning, goal setting and a culture of continuous improvement through process improvement and enhancing the skills and abilities of maintenance staff. Designs short-term strategies, procedures and people utilization with an end goal of improving equipment reliability, efficiency, productivity and performance while reducing inventory and waste and also maintaining product quality and operating expenses. Creates operating budgets and capital budgets with other leadership team members. Manages department expense budget. Participates in the business planning and budgeting process. Develops short and long-term cost containment/reduction strategies. Performs Human Resources activities including tracking of time and attendance, associate counseling, scheduling, evaluating work performance and assisting in skill development. Fosters high morale and teamwork by supporting the activities of subordinates through daily interaction and one on one contact. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related fieldLeadership experience in Maintenance, Machining, Engineering or a related field. Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable information and monitor achievement Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects across multiple departments. Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills Strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint In depth knowledge of maintenance methods, procedures, and termsExperience:8+ years of Maintenance managementAn equivalent combination of degree and experience can be considered.
