Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary Mechanical Reliability teams.
- Foster a collaborative, safety-focused culture that emphasizes accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Manage staffing, employee development, performance management, and succession planning for the Mechanical Reliability organization.
- Allocate resources effectively to support site priorities and business objectives.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and availability.
- Provide stewardship for the site's Mechanical Integrity program and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and industry requirements.
- Monitor reliability performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime.
- Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) efforts and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance maintenance effectiveness and asset performance.
- Manage site maintenance and construction service providers to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective execution of work.
- Oversee contractor performance, contract compliance, and resource utilization.
- Develop strong working relationships with contractors and vendors to support maintenance and capital project objectives.
- Lead the Mechanical Integrity element of the site's Process Safety Management (PSM) program.
- Ensure maintenance and reliability activities comply with applicable regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Conduct audits of reliability systems, maintenance processes, and compliance programs to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, coaching, and visible engagement in safe work practices.
- Support annual maintenance budgeting and planning processes.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators for maintenance and reliability.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, HSE, and other site functions to improve plant reliability and operational performance.
- Support quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Approximately 10 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, including maintenance, engineering, reliability, or operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance and reliability organizations.
- Strong understanding of mechanical reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance, and asset management principles.
- Experience with contractor management and maintenance planning.
- Working knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Mechanical Integrity programs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
