About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead equipment reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives for our high-volume Battery Module production operations. In this leadership role, you will drive world-class maintenance practices that maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), minimize downtime, and support the introduction of new parts, processes, and automated equipment. You will partner closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure safe, reliable, and scalable operations in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of equipment maintenance strategies that improve OEE, including real-time condition monitoring systems, data-driven identification of bottlenecks, and targeted improvement projects
  • Establish robust breakdown management processes that distinguish between short-term containment and long-term root-cause corrective actions, while implementing preventive measures to eliminate repeat failures
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs, tracking and reporting measurable gains in equipment reliability and uptime
  • Manage the full lifecycle of spare parts, including criticality analysis, inventory optimization, and audit processes that ensure zero-risk conditions for critical components
  • Assess current maintenance team capabilities, create targeted training and development plans, and build a high-performing, skilled workforce capable of supporting advanced automation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, quality, and operations leadership to resolve issues impacting part quality, equipment performance, ergonomics, and overall cell efficiency
  • Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement as a visible leader and change agent across the department

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in maintenance, equipment management, or a related leadership role in automated manufacturing
  • 5+ years of hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience with complex industrial equipment in the automotive or high-volume manufacturing sector
  • Demonstrated success leading PM/TPM programs and driving measurable OEE improvements
  • Strong robotic and controls programming skills (Fanuc or KUKA experience preferred)
  • Journeyman-level maintenance experience in a vehicle assembly or similar high-speed production environment; experience with power electronic systems is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven interpersonal, organizational, and team leadership skills, with a track record of driving change and developing people
