Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that all forklift equipment is operating properly and safely.
- Ensure maintenance tasks throughout the facilities are assigned and completed according to schedule.
- Responsible for the inspection and repair of doors, dock plates, racking and additional equipment.
- Responsible for inspecting building and grounds and performing general building maintenance including dock levelers, racking, HVAC and lighting.
- Maintains forklift, transportation fleet and building maintenance operational history by initiating and updating records.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
- Train and develop a skilled maintenance team.
- Conducts annual reviews of maintenance team.
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience leading Maintenance Team
- Experience with various types of Material Handling equipment including Forklifts, Order pickers, Clamp trucks
- Building Maintenance experience including Lighting, HVAC, Dock doors, dock levelers
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Computer experience
- Technical courses and training a plus
