Maintenance Manager

Role Overview

As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee facilities and building maintenance, ensuring UniLodge meets all codes, regulations, and service standards while maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall maintenance of apartments, commons areas, and building exteriors, ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, safety and security
• Establish and implement preventative maintenance programs, ensuring compliance and company health and safety procedures, as well as industry and statutory regulations
• Record, report and assist the General Manager in managing all building defects
• Aid in the development and management of maintenance budgets
• Manage external contractors, ensuring timely progress and providing updates to the General Manager.

About You

• Minimum of 3 years experience in general property and grounds maintenance and repairs
• Safety-first mindset and understanding of basic OH&S principles and chemical handling
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Confident computer skills including ability to use various systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Trade qualification will be highly regarded
• Valid Class C Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
• QLD Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
• Valid National Police Check
