About the role
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead reliability and maintenance operations at our facility in the Lakewood, WA area. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring equipment uptime, optimizing maintenance programs, and supporting a safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and support a team of maintenance technicians and facilities personnel
- Drive a proactive maintenance culture by expanding preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and process issues to minimize downtime
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce failures
- Manage maintenance budgets, including repair & maintenance (R&M) and spare parts inventory
- Partner cross-functionally with production, engineering, and operations teams to support business goals
- Oversee the maintenance of key systems such as conveyors, pumps, motors, PLCs, VFDs, HVAC, and facility equipment
- Utilize CMMS tools to track work orders, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure all equipment and processes meet safety and food safety standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- 2–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing maintenance teams
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and automated systems
- Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning systems
- Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, compressors, boilers, HVAC, and process instrumentation
- Ability to analyze maintenance data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food, beverage, or other regulated manufacturing environments
- Lean / 5S or continuous improvement experience
- Welding or fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, Arc)
- Technical education in mechanical, electrical, or related field
Pay
- Base Salary: $100,000–$115,000 annually, based on experience
- Annual Performance Bonus: Target of 15% of base salary
- Quarterly Incentive Program: Eligibility for a salaried quarterly incentive plan tied to service center performance
