Maintenance Manager

Location: New Haven, CT area

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Engineering (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience with food processing and packaging equipment

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• PLC experience with electrical distribution, conveyors, and VFD controls in an industrial setting
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical and pneumatic drawings, safety rules, operations manuals, and written instructions
• Knowledge of welding & fabricating, plumbing, carpentry, building, facilities, and grounds maintenance
• Maintain the CMMS and create/implement preventative maintenance, purchase order, and parts‑management programs
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships; order materials and supplies as required
• Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance mechanics and technicians

Compensation

Salary range: $120,000 – $140,000
