About the Role
The position ensures equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently while developing a skilled maintenance team. The role contributes to maximizing uptime and plant performance through collaboration with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Plant Leadership.
Responsibilities
- Promote a Zero Incident safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead incident investigations and manage corrective actions.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team of six maintenance technicians.
- Conduct performance reviews and build training programs.
- Support troubleshooting and critical equipment repairs.
- Improve equipment reliability and drive improvements in uptime and overall reliability.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules and manage predictive maintenance programs.
- Lead root cause analysis and eliminate repeat failures.
- Drive continuous improvement projects involving PLC upgrades, reliability improvements, and safety enhancements.
- Manage maintenance budget, capital planning, and spare parts inventory.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
- 7 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- 3 years of maintenance leadership experience.
- Experience with industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with CMMS systems.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
