About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead and develop a team of approximately 20 maintenance, reliability, and technical professionals. This high-impact role is responsible for leading maintenance, reliability, engineering, safety, capital planning, and asset performance initiatives at a key pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The role plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, developing talent, improving reliability, and shaping site culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of ~20 maintenance, reliability, and technical professionals.
  • Drive maintenance and reliability strategies that improve safety, asset performance, and productivity.
  • Oversee preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
  • Lead root cause analysis, reliability improvements, and asset lifecycle planning.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, capital projects, utilities, facilities, and contractor performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, EHS, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver business results.
  • Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, or reliability.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability methodologies, CMMS systems, maintenance planning, and asset management.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, food, specialty chemical, or other regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
