Maintenance Manager

About the role

Prime Car Wash is expanding and seeking an experienced Car Wash Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role oversees maintenance operations at six central Indianapolis locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure the overall functionality of the wash tunnel and equipment room
• Oversee and repair all facility needs at our six central Indianapolis locations
• Lead and manage a team of 2-4 maintenance technicians
• Use expertise in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly
• Read blueprints and manage an inventory system to keep all parts and repairs in order
• Inspect buildings and grounds for maintenance issues and keep facilities in proper working order
• Be on call after hours on a rotating schedule
• Maintain a clean and well-kept company vehicle
• Handle additional duties as assigned after proper training

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience in the car wash industry
• Experience with tunnel installation is a plus
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
• Proficient in multi-tasking with great attention to detail and safety
• Ability to manage and lead a maintenance team
• Knowledgeable in the use and care of basic hand tools
• Capable of creating and managing a weekly maintenance checklist
• Willing to travel to out of state locations on occasion when needed
• Experience in managing monthly maintenance expense reports
