Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Initiate and direct plant-wide projects to improve machine up-time, efficiencies, and overall production, including new design and engineering solutions
• Direct employees to complete daily tasks to maintain and improve the overall environment of the plant, inside and outside
• Manage all maintenance, repair, and overhaul for the facility and its machines and equipment, including ordering and procuring necessary materials
• Support safety initiatives and production
• Initiate, implement, direct, and schedule machine preventive maintenance programs

Managerial Functions

• Prioritize and delegate work to maintenance and facilities teams
• Clearly communicate expectations and hold subordinates accountable for performance
• Demonstrate responsibility for budget and effective utilization of resources to maximize results

Engineering And Administrative Functions

• Develop, plan, perform, and coordinate engineering and administrative assignments to ensure company compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations
• Oversee maintenance, repair, installation, and/or design of equipment
• Suggest and direct engineering solutions or projects to improve safety, production, the facility environment, and culture

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related field (will accept relatable experience or internships in-lieu of completed degree)
• Self-starter and highly motivated
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean principles
