What You'll Do
- Leading all maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
- Championing a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and standards
- Providing hands-on support with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair activities
- Working alongside maintenance technicians to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime
- Managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Reducing unplanned downtime through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Improving reliability metrics, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
- Leading troubleshooting efforts involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Managing maintenance planning, scheduling, work orders, and spare parts inventory
- Developing, coaching, and training maintenance technicians
- Promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the department
- Managing maintenance budgets, contractors, and vendor relationships
- Partnering with Production, Quality, Design, and Safety teams to support operational goals
- Maintaining accurate CMMS records and equipment history
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Proven success improving equipment reliability and maintenance performance metrics
- Experience with preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience with CMMS systems, maintenance planning, and work order management
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability and willingness to remain actively involved in day-to-day maintenance operations
- Corrugated manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
