Maintenance Manager

Green Light Lawn Care, Inc. is growing, and we're seeking a skilled Shop Mechanic to join our hardworking team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys mechanical work, troubleshooting, and supporting a busy, fast-paced operation.

Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on small engines, trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment readiness
• Managing shop organization, cleanliness, and parts inventory
• Welding, fabrication, and minor body or structural repairs
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and communicating equipment needs to management
• Ensuring all safety procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience as a mechanic, technician, or equipment maintenance specialist (required)
• Strong diagnostic repair skills with small engines, diesel, and/or hydraulic systems
• Basic welding or fabrication experience
• A valid driver's license (required; CDL a plus)
• The ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment safely
• Excellent time management and communication skills

Must be willing to relocate to West Lafayette, IN before starting (required).

Pay

$24-35 per hour

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Day shift
• Monday-Friday
• Seasonal overtime opportunities depending on workload and weather
