Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Planning and Strategy:
  • Developing maintenance strategies
  • Creating comprehensive plans for preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
  • Managing the maintenance budget, forecasting costs, and controlling spending
  • Proposing and justifying capital expenditure for major equipment purchases or upgrades
  • Prioritizing and assigning maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion and optimal resource utilization
• Supervision and Management:
  • Team leadership: Supervising and developing maintenance staff, providing training and support
  • Performance management: Evaluating team member performance, providing feedback, and implementing improvement plans
  • Contract management: Negotiating and managing contracts with external vendors for equipment maintenance and repairs
• Operations and Maintenance:
  • Ensuring compliance: Adhering to all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Identifying and resolving equipment malfunctions, implementing repairs, and preventing future issues
  • Quality control: Ensuring that all maintenance work is performed to the required standards and specifications
  • Record-keeping: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
• Continuous Improvement:
