Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Facilities and Maintenance Manager oversees all aspects of maintenance and repairs at both the office and distribution center spaces. Key responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, leading a team of technicians, and coordinating with third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on distribution center material handling systems
• Corrective maintenance on facility equipment
• Support a safe work environment by addressing equipment-related safety concerns
• Determine when outside contractor support is needed and coordinate repairs and maintenance work with third parties
• Assist with forklift training and maintain OSHA required documentation
• Build effective relationships with third-party vendors
• Work closely with DC leadership team to address operational maintenance and safety issues promptly
• Maintain preventive maintenance records
• Supervise and lead the maintenance and facilities team

Requirements

• 3 years of previous experience working with electrical, mechanical systems, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment and able to troubleshoot issues
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform 8 hours of standing, bending, lifting, walking, and carrying products in combination at any given time
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
