WHY DO WE NEED YOU? The Role This position requires strong leadership skills, and the ability to interact with all departmental functions within the plant, including but not limited to safety training, repair of equipment, predictive maintenance planning, and preventative maintenance of existing machines. Manage preventative and reactive maintenance programs to optimize production efficiency while minimizing maintenance costs. Conduct planning, scheduling, & budgeting maintenance activitiesConduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and life cycle analysis on the maintenance of equipmentPrepare and submit internal and external reports according to local and department requirements, including capital appropriations, maintenance spending, and capital spending reportsUtilization of Six Sigma tools to develop applicable projects for the plantResponsible for compliance with applicable corporate and governmental guidelines, rules, and regulations pertaining to health, safety, and environmental issuesProvide direct supervision of Maintenance Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Supervisors, and Maintenance PlannerHave significant involvement in problem-solving situations relative to preventive and predictive maintenance, installation, modification, and repair of equipmentExercising discretion when making decisions, and the use of independent judgment within policy and procedure guidelines, are included as part of the responsibilities of this positionAssist the plant in providing a safe place to work, while enabling quality products to be produced through effective and efficient management of maintenance activities related to design, cost, selection, construction, and installation of equipment.Oversee capital projects, including development of technical specifications, vendor selection and quotations, engineering analysis and project justification, plan and coordinate internal and external project resources, and facilitate safe implementation into the plant or production environmentEnsure adherence to Waste Management and Recycling responsibilitiesBe an active participant in the plant's safety programs and Incident & near miss Investigations to determine root cause and corrective actionsParticipate in the development, understanding, and review of all position JSA and SOP's IS THIS JOB FOR YOU? Requirements Degree in a technical field such as engineering, preferredMinimum 5 years in industrial manufacturing or equivalent experienceSAP experience, preferredMaintenance management experience with knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systemsStrong understanding of federal, state, and local building codes and safety regulationsStrong problem-solving ability with minimal supervision; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsSupervisory experience, preferred; proven ability to lead teams, drive motivation, and support continuous improvement TO MAKE SURE NOTHING IS FORGOTTEN Certain states require pay information to be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $92,000-$142,000 per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $103,040 to $159,04.
