Maintenance Manager

Activities

• Developing and Supervising Direct Reports
• Ensures employees are working safely
• Supports and enforces safety rules and guidelines
• Supports proper usage of all safety personal protective equipment
• Identifies developmental needs for each employee
• Manages personnel in terms of evaluation, training, and communication
• Evaluates performance in terms of safety, quality, quantity, delivery, and cost
• Facilitates teamwork
• Applies corrective actions in a timely manner
• Ensures departmental and one-on-one meetings take place
• Plans Resource Utilization
• Participates in production meetings to discuss downtime and corrective actions
• Maintains CMMS information accuracy and effectiveness
• Reviews all planned job packages for completeness and correctness
• Assigns priority for how work will be completed
• Considers timing when completing work orders during changeovers
• Solves Operational Problems
• Leads efforts for continuous improvement on PM system
• Collaborates with shifts to achieve orderly and accurate changeovers
• Manages efforts to quickly resolve downtime carry-over issues
• Discusses long-term fixes to issues
• Manages People Pillar and assists with WCM initiative

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supervising and developing direct reports
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and personal protective equipment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience with CMMS systems and project management
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
