Position Summary

The Maintenance Manager oversees the maintenance, functionality, and physical condition of Aspen Vacations' luxury vacation rental properties. Reporting directly to the owner, you manage a team of three technicians and ensure all properties are well-cared for and meet high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, train, and mentor the maintenance team, setting priorities, assigning work, and ensuring quality work is completed efficiently
• Conduct property inspections, diagnose issues, recommend improvements, and oversee maintenance work
• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs, and manage urgent issues
• Schedule and complete routine preventative maintenance, and oversee specialty trade vendors
• Evaluate and select vendors, oversee their work, and maintain accurate records
• Assist with onboarding new properties and address reported issues

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on residential, hospitality, facilities, or property maintenance experience
• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role, with experience hiring, training, and managing maintenance staff
• Strong knowledge of residential home systems and familiarity with mountain-home systems
• Proven ability to diagnose and perform repairs independently, and experience with specialty trades and vendors
• Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to new technologies
• Excellent communication skills with homeowners, guests, vendors, and internal teams
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Schedule

Full-time, typically Monday through Friday, with availability for occasional after-hours or weekends during peak periods.
