Maintenance Machine Repair - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s Power Components Division is seeking a Maintenance Machine Repair professional for the 2nd shift with core hours of 3:30pm to 12:00am, Monday through Friday.

About the Role

Repair, service, maintain, and recondition complex precision machine tools and all mechanical and hydraulic equipment in the plant. Work from drawings, sketches, instruction drawings, specifications, and verbal information.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and remedy trouble, efficiently repairing any machine or equipment in service.
• Rig, move, install, level, and adjust all new or relocated machines or equipment requiring extreme accuracy to align properly.
• Perform repairs including making parts, fitting bearings, spindles, scraping ways, metalizing, installing and fitting spare parts, and making required machine adjustments.
• Coordinate with other skilled workers on apparatus and shop equipment as required.
• Identify parts to aid in proper installation, locate trouble areas, and expedite repairs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, tools, and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to and including forty (40) pounds.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $31.30 per hour.
