Maintenance Inventory Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular, dedicated cycle counts of over 1,500 unique inventory items to ensure system accuracy and prevent stockouts. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Help identify and implement improvements in storeroom organization, layout, and labeling.
• Manage the receiving of all incoming maintenance parts and supplies. Verify shipments against purchase orders, confirming the accuracy of items, quantities, and condition.
• Organize and stock all received items in their designated locations, ensuring the workspace is kept clean and orderly according to 5S principles. Promptly report any shipping discrepancies—such as short shipments, incorrect or damaged items—for resolution.
• Routinely monitor non-inventoried Kanban stock levels for essential supplies (e.g., fasteners and hardware). Initiate restocking requests to ensure the continuous availability of critical items.
• Adhere to established processes for assigning inventory to work orders. Fulfill parts requests for Maintenance technicians. Improve repair efficiency and work order accuracy by ensuring technicians receive the correct parts in a timely fashion.
• Help with purchasing and data entry in our CMMS (MaintainX). Assist with scanning documentation, inventory usage reports, and asset management.
