MAINTENANCE HOURLY (MECHANICS, TECHNICIANS & PROJECTS)

About the Role

This position ensures all aspects of the maintenance mechanic functions are performed in a safe and acceptable method. The role involves performing preventative maintenance procedures on all assigned equipment and assisting other areas of the plant when major problems occur.

Responsibilities

• Completes all assigned tasks, both scheduled and unscheduled work, as directed by supervisor.
• Assists in the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, including support across all maintenance areas of the plant.
• Ensures assigned areas of the maintenance department are monitored and documented in compliance with safety, food safety, company policy, and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends or as needed.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Willingness to work in both hot and cold environments.
• Some related maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs on occasion.

Departments may include Fabrication, Slaughter, Material Handling, Rendering, E&E, and B&E based on company needs.

Pay

Base pay range of $27.90–$34.90 per hour.
