Maintenance Helper - Immediate Opening

Join our team at Fairfield by Marriott Carmel as a hands-on Maintenance Tech who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in a job well done. Weekend availability is required, but you’ll be part of a team that values your skills and supports your growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic repairs in guest rooms and public areas—light plumbing, painting, electrical, and more.
• Support preventive maintenance by performing scheduled tasks to keep equipment, systems, and facilities running smoothly.
• Respond to guest and team member maintenance requests quickly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of back-of-house areas like the maintenance shop, boiler room, and storage spaces.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and General Manager to ensure the property is always looking and functioning its best.

Requirements

• Prior maintenance or facilities experience is helpful but not required—we’ll train the right candidate.
• Ability to use basic tools, follow safety protocols, and complete tasks independently.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
