Responsibilities
- Maintains the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Completes minor repairs to various facilities including handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, and fire alarms and extinguishers.
- Changes filters on HVAC equipment.
- Carries, lifts, and stocks supplies.
- Assumes maintenance supervisor’s responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.
