Maintenance Generalist Basic Pro(Evis) 2nd shift, Albertville, AL (JUNE)

About the role

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work overtime and weekends as required
• Stand for approximately 8.5 hours/day on a concrete floor
• Push, pull, or lift over 40 lbs.
• Climb ladders above 10 feet
• Be a member of the Plant Hazmat Team
• Complete computer-based training and enter work into the SAP system
• Use LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of industrial maintenance work experience documented in the work history section of the application or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program
• List work experience in the work experience section of the application or upload a resume
• Provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
• Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet
• The work schedule is 6 days a week and 7 if production works on Saturday
• Position requires standing approximately 8.5 hours/day on concrete floor
• Position requires pushing, pulling or lifting over 40 lbs.
• Position requires climbing ladders above 10 feet
• Position requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team
• Requires completing computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system
• Requires using LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks
