Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance teams to identify root causes of downtime events & drive permanent corrective actions.
  • Track and maintain equipment downtime metrics.
  • Cook scheduling of maintenance PMs across shifts & departments and drive to 100% completion and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance to PM schedule and Run Time Inspection schedule through metric tracking & process audits.
  • Work with operations to support & improve operator-based PM activities.
  • Develop and lead predictive analysis efforts.
  • Develop the technical and behavioral skill-sets of the department through both internal and external training, auditing and appropriate metrics to drive improvement.
  • Train & inform maintenance associates to understand metrics of the departments they support regarding safety, quality, delivery and costs.
  • Direct electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic staff specialist.
  • Responsible for implementation of capital projects exceeding $50mm to include vendor selection, equipment approval and equipment installation.
  • Budget conformance to assigned projects.
  • Serve as or provide technical resource for equipment in support of capital equipment purchases, modifications, and process development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but extensive industry experience considered.
  • 5-10 years of industry experience; Maintenance / Engineering focus preferred.
  • Deals effectively with all levels of personnel, internal and external.
  • Strong analytical, engineering, or industry specific technical skills.
