Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance teams to identify root causes of downtime events & drive permanent corrective actions.
- Track and maintain equipment downtime metrics.
- Cook scheduling of maintenance PMs across shifts & departments and drive to 100% completion and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance to PM schedule and Run Time Inspection schedule through metric tracking & process audits.
- Work with operations to support & improve operator-based PM activities.
- Develop and lead predictive analysis efforts.
- Develop the technical and behavioral skill-sets of the department through both internal and external training, auditing and appropriate metrics to drive improvement.
- Train & inform maintenance associates to understand metrics of the departments they support regarding safety, quality, delivery and costs.
- Direct electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic staff specialist.
- Responsible for implementation of capital projects exceeding $50mm to include vendor selection, equipment approval and equipment installation.
- Budget conformance to assigned projects.
- Serve as or provide technical resource for equipment in support of capital equipment purchases, modifications, and process development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but extensive industry experience considered.
- 5-10 years of industry experience; Maintenance / Engineering focus preferred.
- Deals effectively with all levels of personnel, internal and external.
- Strong analytical, engineering, or industry specific technical skills.
