Broad Function and Purpose of Position: To effectively manage the engineering, process engineering and maintenance functions at the facility. This includes the development, implementations and improvement of preventative maintenance for the equipment, and leading a department of Maintenance Technicians, Process Engineers, Controls Engineers, Parts Coordinator, and others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally and safely.
• Lead and manage a team of maintenance and engineering staff, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
• Develop and manage the maintenance budget, forecasting future needs and ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Responsible for the training and development of professional engineering staff
• Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes and engineering practices.
