Maintenance Engineer II - Kahler Grand Hotel

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify and address potential issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Aid in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical training or certification in a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment, is required.
• A strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance is necessary.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, is important.
• The physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces, is necessary.

Pay

The compensation for this position is $24.20/hour.
